Jeremiah 31
King James Version
31 At the same time, saith the Lord, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people….. This Israel is actually Jesus. this is speaking of everyone who lives for Jesus from the beginning to the eternal Day. It does not mean a natural 'isreal' as most people assume.
2 Thus saith the Lord, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest. …. This sword is speaking of the destruction of the wicked. this grace in the wilderness is the resting place in Christ Jesus.
3 The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. ….. this one is most beautiful…. it is speaking of Eve as God led her all the way from Eden to forever. He loved Eve and came to hate Adam who is all the wicked.
thank you. ….. 4 Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry. ……. See that…. thy tabrets>? that pertains to the original state of Adam/Eve in Eden. check eze 28. Now the Lord just showed me this…. the dances of them that make merry is showing Miriam as they danced the victory of being delievered from Egypt….. See it is showing the restoration of the glory of the original sons of God and their total deliverance from the sinful kingdom that we are now is. Do You see this? It is speaking to Eve/Jesus. Most beautiful indeed. I am so thankful that God opens his Word up to me. Seek and ye shall find. You are seeking so you will find.
5 Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things. ….. This is speaking of and to Jesus…. he is the vine…. the planters are the apostles and we eat the glorious things they brought forth. We will yet do this in the kingdom of Christ that is soon to fill this earth with new life and deliverance from the evil that now fills the world.
6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the Lord our God. ……… this is showing the watchmen that Jesus has set up now to show us that the Kingdom of Christ is now on earth. we will go to that Kingdom and rejoice forever more. Zech.
It is seldom we get this chance to go through a full chapter on Fb. 7 For thus saith the Lord; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O Lord, save thy people, the remnant of Israel. …. this remnant is spoken of in Rev. It is those of us who serve Jesus in truth….. we are then shouting the victory over this sinful kingdom that we see falling right now before our very eyes.
8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.
9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn. ….. This speaks of from the time Jesus was born until the end just before us. It is his saving people who were blind to the truth and could not walk in holiness. We are the woman who travailed to being forth a manchild. the weeping and supplication is the true REPENTANCE that we must do in order to be saved. This is ongoing all through the time of Jesus till he sets up his Kingdom on earth.
10 Hear the word of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
11 For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he. ………… this is speaking of the sending forth of the gospel to all the world. It is speaking of the people of Jesus; not natural Israel. Jesus is Israel. He is gathering back his true people that Adam took away from God. Adam, the sicked serpent, is the one who was stronger than us/him.
12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the Lord, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all. …… this shows the full restoration of the pure Kingdom of Christ. It began on the Day of Pentecost and completes when Jesus does away with the sinful kingdom off this earth. The wheat, wine and oil is the fullness of the Spirit/Word of God.
13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the Lord. …… Again this is showing the full restoration of the joyful Kingdom Of God on earth. It is when all evil has been thrust into hell and earth is heaven on earth.
Now, here is the real beauty: 15 Thus saith the Lord; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
16 Thus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
17 And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border. ….. This is truly speaking of Mother Eve as she mourns for her children from the murder of Abel till the end of time, as Satan and his evil followers destroy the people or children of Eve. It is showing the resurrection. He goes back to the time of the murder of babies at the birth of Jesus, the murder of babies at the birth of Moses, at the murder of babies now….etc. but at the resurrection, all of this will be reversed and God will give those children LIFE. most beautiful indeed.
18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the Lord my God.
19 Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth. ….. It is easy to see that this is speaking of the beginning of salvation on the Day of Pentecost. Deliverance from the yoke means being delivered from Law to Grace. Repentance….see, it is a must. being ashamed of our sins and turning from them is the true repentance and is a must for salvation.
20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the Lord. [God is speaking of Adam and all his descendants. God loved us and made a way for us to be brought back to him. Jesus Christ.
21 Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities. [this is the call to REPENTANCE]
22 How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the Lord hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man. …… [How did God save the wayward 'Adam'?…. A 'woman' compassing a 'man'?….. means our human flesh with the Son of God growing inside us. wow!
'26 Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me. …… this is the RESURRECTION. …. THE REST of the chapter is easy to see once you get this part. so I will not do anymore right now.
