let's just see if God upholds this this of having 'wives'.

Mal 2:11 Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.
Mal 2:12 The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts.
Mal 2:13 And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.
Mal 2:14 Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.
Mal 2:15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
Mal 2:16 For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

Notice, God is against them because of whom they married. He said he will cut them off who offend in this.

Mal 2:14 Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

Notice God said they had dealt treacherously against the WIFE, (Not wives) of thy youth. Yet SHE, (not they) is the WIFE (not wives) of thy covenant.

Mal 2:15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

Did He not make ONE? He, who? God. One what? WIFE. Yes, there is your true answer.

Others fight with you in their own words. I come to you in the Name of the true God, and his true Word. He made Adam only ONE wife. He dealt treacherously when he took that second one. it was not of God. God said he will cut off those who do this. He will not see their tears or hear their cries.

this is a very serious thing to God. He said, why did He make ONE? That he might seek a GODLY Seed. that Godly seed could only come with this original pattern of marriage = one man and one woman. That is how God made it and how he intended it to stay. But men sought out their own inventions of marriage and everything else.

They rebelled against God's way and chose their own way. Their way leads to DEATH.

You may enjoy this mess of more than ONE, now, but in the end, you will regret it as you fall off into hell.

Now for the rest of verse 15: Take HEED to your spirit, that you deal not treacherously against the WIFE (singular) of thy YOUTH. In other words, the first one. When you take that second one, you deal treacherously against the one true wife, the first one.

Oh so foolish is the woman who allows herself to be deceived into such a hurtful and d**ning situation! She is not loved! Neither one of them is loved. You only love your own lustful self. Now you made so much over saying the virgins were one virgin, take that same reasoning to verse 15. the WIFE, not wives, OF THY YOUTH.

This is the last Book of the OT. Here God is setting the record STRAIGHT, on all that they have vexed his Holy Spirit with, all through the OT. You cannot find multiply wives upheld in the New Testament. You belong back there under law, which is only under the blood of animals, by which is not salvation or forgiveness of sins.

Yes, others tried to set you right, but they did not know enough of the Word of God to prove what they knew in their spirit. I DO.

Judah married the daughter of a strange god, when he took that second wife, for this is not of the true God. God said this is an abomination. verse 11. He said this profains the holiness of God.

Mal 2:16 For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

God hates putting away. for ONE (ONE WHAT? ONE WIFE) covereth violence with his garment. THEREFORE take HEED to your spirit, (about what?) that ye deal NOT TREACHEROUSLY. This dealing treacherously was in taking that second wife. God made them to have only one. He did not make Adam two wives. Nothing you can say will ever make it right.

Now did Jesus uphold this? Let him tell us:

Mt 19:3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
Mt 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
Mt 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
Mt 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
Mt 19:7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?
Mt 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

Will you contend with Jesus? I guess so. But for others who might find this, here is what Jesus taught on this subject...same thing as in Malichi:

Mt 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
Mt 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

God made them at the beginning MALE (singular) and FEMALE, (also singular). For this cause shall a man leave father and mother and cleave to his WIFE, (singular; not wives, Plural); and they TWAIN, (means TWO, NOT THREE OR FOUR),... shall be ONE FLESH. same as with Jesus and God, see? two different ones, united.

Mt 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

Here Jesus took it back to the beginning, when God made one wife for Adam. He said from the beginning IT WAS NOT SO.

Malichi took it back to the beginning, with Adam and Eve. God made Adam only ONE WIFE, TO SEEK A GODLY SEED.

Here Jesus verifies that this is the truth and the only acceptable way with god.

All the others, who had more than one, were walking in man's own ways. He chose death rather than life.

Lu 1:46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

Lu 1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

Lu 1:51 He hath showed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

Lu 1:52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.

Lu 1:53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

Now that is the Word of God, prophesied by a woman, Mary. It is recorded Scripture, the Word of God, spoken by a WOMAN.

The man of the house had been shut up! He could not speak, as the two women in that house, Mary and Elizabeth, were busy prophesying the word of God and speaking mysteries of God.

The above is still a mystery to almost everyone. The women of our day have allowed you sick men to cheat them out of the blessings of God. You said I secretly desired the things of God? You better believe I desire them, and not at all secretly. And know what? He has not denied me one bit of the glorious things of God. He abundantly feeds me daily.

But notice the glorious prophecy above. SHE said, verse 48, He hath regarded the LOW ESTATE of his handmaiden. See, this speaks of the low estate Eve’s sin placed women in. It was PUNISHMENT to both the man and woman, because by this one MAN, sin entered this world, and death by this sin. So Adam is the one who brought sin and death upon all.

Jesus Christ delivered us all from that sinful state, and the perverted state of life it bought into the world, namely, the man ruling over the woman. Jesus Christ, whom you pretend to know, delivered us all from that. But the proud, high-and-mighty man refuses this work of Jesus and continues to try to keep the daughters of God under their bondage. You will end up lost if you continue to rebel against Jesus this way.

Notice verse 52. Mary still speaking. He (God) hath put down the mighty, (men) from their seats, (seat means the place of rulership), and EXALTED them of LOW DEGREE.

If God EXALTED them, He lifted them up as high as high can go. And you have the gall to say a daughter of God cannot teach you foolish men? Shows you know not one truth.

Now who were the ones of low degree? The answer is in verse 48, the handmaidens. So this clearly said, and it prophecy from God, that God put DOWN those of high degree, the proud men, and EXALTED them of low degree, the women. And that is why Jesus and the angel avoided Peter and John at the tomb of Jesus, and appeared FIRST TO MARY. She, a mere woman, was the very first one to know that Jesus had risen. She, a mere woman, was the very first one whom Jesus sent out to preach this great message.

This will take a lot of time and some hard work to do but if this helps even one person it will be worth it all to me and I also know God will bless me for the effort I have put into this. Praise the Lord and to him be all the glory.

The word favored or favor means the followings- [ friendly regard showed toward another person esp. by a superior-it also means to approve, choose, to show mercy, recover. Then I looked up the word recover to see what it meant and it meant the following-to get back again, to reclaim which means to restore, to recall from wrong conduct, to change from undesirable to a desired condition.

See she was approved of God and changed from undesirable to a desired condition and God showed mercy on her and restored her back to the original state and reclaimed what she was at the beginning a help meet. The word blessed means -to speak well of, praise, to be made holy. From this we see that she was no longer a cursed seed but a holy seed. See she had to be changed because a curse see can not bring forth a holy seed and that’s what he said that she was to do. He said that which is borned of you shall be holy and shall be called the Son of God.

The word trouble means- to be disturb, to worry. She began to worry and to be disturbed about this because she had always been taught that nothing holy could come from a woman because she was still under that curse. The same thing is happing in this day and time. Most everybody especially the church are keeping her under the bondage that God has set her free from.

If you remember I said that it was God that set her free go back to vs.30-He told Mary fear not, for thou hast found favor with God. Clear cut evidence that it was God that set her free from this bondage and who God set free is free indeed .So you see women you are no longer under that curse you are free indeed.

Let me show you something here why this curse had to be removed from her before Jesus comes on the scene.

Luke 1:48-from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

Now all of you that says the woman is still under the curse of that law what are you going to do with this scripture? Tell me how she can be cursed and blessed at the same time. It said that he blessed her which means to respect, sanctify, praise. That does not look like any curse seed to me looks to me like a holy seed.

Vs.-50- And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.[ see she found mercy which means to show compassion to victims of misfortune and it also shows forgiveness. To me this also shows that Eve repented and found forgiveness because the word said his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation. We know that she feared him because the word said in Gen.3:8-and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And it goes on and said they were afraid]

So to me it shows that Eve found forgiveness in the eyes of the Lord but man is still trying to keep her under that curse.Ok I know what you are thinking if Eve found forgiveness so did Adam. I don’t think so but right now I don’t want to deal with that. He said his mercy on them that fear him [the them he was referring to was his handmaidens not Adam unless he was a handmaid]

Vs.-51- He hath shewed strength with his arm;[ in other words this woman was to his arm to bring forth and birth a man child which was Jesus who was to be his right hand. In other words she was to be his help meet.]

ISAIAH-40:10-11- Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. 040:011 -He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. Who was he talking about here when he said his arm will rule for him? It had to be the woman because he said that they were with young.

Back to vs.-51- he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. [proud here means appearing above others] tell me men who does this sound like? Don’t have an answer? Or don’t want to answer? Well I will answer for you being a man myself I am capable to answer this question. I say the proud that he scattered is the man and he scattered them just like he did over in Gen.

Gen.-11:4- And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

1 Peter-5:5-6-Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble

005:006 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time See men we have always been the proud and the mighty and I will show you in the following scripture. So you see what we have to do we have to fall down on our knees and humble ourselves before God and ask for forgiveness and quit treating the women like a dog and let show them some respect and women you allow us to do this thing and let’s all be subject to one another.

Men I know that it is going to be hard for you to swallow your pride because I have been in your shoes and have walked your walk. I did as Paul I persecuted the woman where he persecuted the church and did not think she could teach or any of these other things that she is not allowed to do in the church. I have not always had the revelation that I have now about the woman. I also had to eat crow and swallow my pride which was hard to do me being taught in the church the way I was. But when God opens your understanding to something you have to humble yourselves before him.

Luke-1:52- He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.

Mighty means-strong and powerful, stout, husky, huge, big and muscular. Men can you guess who fits this description? I said above that I would prove who the mighty was. If the description I just gave does not prove that the mighty is the man let me try again.

Jeremiah-31-22- How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.[ see what was happening over in Luke with Mary the LORD was ushering in a new move of God. The word compass hear means to lead. The word man here means mighty. Need I Say anymore about who the mighty is? I think not.

The last of vs.-52 and also vs.-53- and exalted them of low degree.

001:053 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. This is saying that this low degree is when Jesus said that he would put down the high and raise up the low and what we just saw in Jer. that a woman would compass a man this is what this is speaking of. That God would lift them up and let them lead.

VS.-53- He hath filled the hungry with good things; [tell me who has always been hungry and starving for the good things of God? No let me tell you. The Woman.]and the rich he hath sent empty away. I guess you know by now who the rich is and being sent away empty handed. The MAN

Psalms-107:9- For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.Psalms-107:8-Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Psalms-107:21-22- Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

107:022 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing

1 Corinthians 14

14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church



Paul told the Corinthians YOUR women cannot teach. Why? Because they were under the law. He said, as also saith the LAW. That law is what he confirmed this decision with; not Grace. But it is important to realize that here Paul was only quoting what the men at that church were saying. He immediately rebukes them for this. He said, WHAT! Came the Word of God to you? Do you not realize that the words I speak to you are the commandments of the Lord; not the law of Moses, is what he is telling them.

That is why they had to ask their husbands AT HOME. The law did not allow them into the sanctuary. Is that what you desire for women today? If so, WHY?

People, Paul said if you go back to LAW at any point, you are under the curse of the law and guilty to do it all. So if you put a woman under the law that she cannot do the speaking in the church, you have gone back to law, and Christ is of no effect to you. Now don’t you see how important this is? If Christ is of no effect to you, then you are going to hell.

So if you tell a woman she cannot speak or preach the Word of God, then you are placing both yourself and the woman back under the law. The penalty for this is death.

Sorry, I'm a bit late to answer but I read this study a few times.

1 Corinth.14:35 "let them ask their husbands at home"
If this is taken literrally ( like so many do), then what about the single women or those who's husband isn't converted?Then to whom should they ask?

"for it is a shame for women to speak in the church"
If this is taken literally, then women shouldn't sing in the church either.Or prophecise.

I think that Paul simply meant that wives shouldn't interrupt the preachings by asking their husbands for some explanations.They can do this after the service.

If women shouldn't teach in churches, then why does God appoints women preachers?
In Christ we are all alike, in the spiritual world there is no difference between men and women.

Hi Sister eelya, No Paul was not insinuating, as some false teachers claim, that women were jumping up in service and interrupting the sermons by asking their husbands a thing.

That is false as can be. I know some fake historians say this, for I have run into others who say this a lot of times. It is those fake commentators, whose words destroy God's truth.

No. Paul was merely quoting things those men had written to him about. He does this quite a bit in his style of writting. He will repeat what they said, then rebuke it or straighten it out.

God also did this to Adam, when He repeated Adam's false words right back to Adam. KNow what? People still today think that God was admitting that Eve deceived Adam. It is right the opposite.

It is actually a form of 'sarcasm'. Paul was saying that because they had picked back up on law, and the men were saying the women were forbidden by the law to speak, then they wanted to go back and use that law against the women. It is the same today. Almost all men want to hold us women in that law-bondage so they can still rule over us.

The women were not even permitted in the sanctuary back in the olden days of law.

Paul was showing them that if they really go back by the law, the women would not be permitted to speak. But he REBUKES them for this.

He says the words I teach are the commandments of God. Paul did not forbid women to preach, teach or anything else. When he mentions this, he always made it clear that it was only under law that this is held to.

In Grace, as you said, there is neither male nor female. It goes by the inner man. Is the Holy ghost there or just self? Most men are the true forbidden 'female' because they teach from their own carnal minds.
