~~ Rejecting the Jubilee ~~ 11/20/05
Mt 20:25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 20:26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 20:27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
God moved on me two years or more ago to write this message on rejecting the Jubilee. But as so many other messages kept coming to me, I have not managed to write this one. It keeps coming to me over and over and God keeps giving me things to go with this message. But as I have not kept notes, I probably will forget much of it. Something seems to be fighting the bringing forth of this message. I started writing it a week or so ago, but that disk I was using messed up, and I could not open it up to get what I had written. So now I do not remember that. So I am starting all over again. I truly pray God will anoint my mind to bring forth this message in the power and truth which it needs to be taught in. It is a powerful truth, which has been overlooked by most.
Mr 10:42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. 10:43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
Lu 22:25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. 22:26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. 22:27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
Now the three above Scriptures teach clearly that Jesus did not intend for the Christians, or his disciples, to exercise authority or rule over each other. He said this is a trait of the Gentiles, but with you, My people, I do not want it to be so. He said I am as a servant, so shall you be. We are all to serve each other in Grace, not rule over anyone. This absolutely goes for everyone who is in the family of God. No one is to rule over anyone else. Now upon this principle the message of rejecting the Jubilee is built.
Ruling over another is to have that person in bondage. To be ruled over is to be a servant and not as a free person. Whom the Son has set free, is free indeed. Jesus came to set us all free from being ruled over or in bondage. So where, when and how did this thing of being in bondage or in servitude come from or start?
The answer lies back in the Garden of Eden. So let’s start this message there. In Genesis two we find that God said it is not good for the man to be alone. So he made an helpmeet for Adam. Strongs Hebrew dictionary shows helpmeet to mean to surround, protect, succor, which means to lead and aid. So actually Eve was made for the purpose of sort of being a leader or teacher for Adam. Now I know this will be totally disputed by almost everyone. But look up the meanings of those words for yourself and you will see this is the truth. Now in the beginning, Adam and Eve were on equal grounds. He did not rule over her and she did not rule over him. That is how it is supposed to be. Adam deceived Eve into disobeying God and ‘eating’ of that tree of the knowledge of good and evil. In other words, Adam took her under law. By the law is the KNOWLEDGE of sin or evil. By the law is animal sacrifices, which is doing despite to the blood of Jesus. By law one rules over another. This has never been God’s way. It was man choosing his own way in direct defiance of God’s command not to take of this tree. Now as a result of Eve’s listening to Adam and disobeying God and allowing herself to be placed under law, God told her that now she must obey her husband and be in subjection to him. This was punishment to BOTH of them, for now Adam did not have the helpmeet God had given to him. He had brought her down to be his servant. Now he could rule over her. This bondage was a heavy YOKE around her neck. Law is a heavy bondage or yoke which no one could bear. (Acts 15).
God had never ordained for any of his creation to be in this bondage. God is full of grace, mercy and life. He did not want them being into this ‘death’. He did not want them ruling over each other, as was proven by our first Scriptures here by Jesus’ own words. If you can’t believe Jesus, then you will not believe anyone. If they had not partaken of the law-tree, no woman would have ever been in subjection or bondage. No person would have ever been ruled over. We would all have always been free. That law brought death, bondage, yokes, and prison for man-kind.
In this condition of bondage and rebellion, Adam and Eve could no longer dwell in their lovely, perfect Garden of Eden. So God drove the man out! God hated this evil thing of ruling over each other. God hates bondage. God is not the one who placed that yoke on anyone. Satan did this by his deceiving Eve into going along with his evil schemes of becoming a ‘god’. The understanding of the Word of God has been totally messed up because of people missing the truth of what went on in that Garden. Every major teaching in this world is wrong because of people misunderstanding this matter of being in bondage and the true purpose and place of Eve. The matter of law and grace is totally misunderstood because of not understanding what went on with Adam and Eve.
The daughters of God have been totally cheated of their rightful place in God because of everyone believing the lies about Adam and Eve. The sons of God have been in a rebellious and hateful state of mind because of accepting the lies about Adam and Eve. Until you get the truth of this, everything you believe will be WRONG. So this is one of the very most important messages on earth.
1Co 11:9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
Jer 6:2 I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.
Jer 7:29 Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
See that the woman was created for the man, to lead and surround and aid him. He needed her. Zion is likened to a comely (lovely) woman. It is not comely for a woman to cut off her hair. Her power was in that long hair. Therefore ought the woman to have power on her head. So her power was the way she was to be a helpmeet for Adam. Notice, the cut-off hair signifies that she is rejected and forsaken. It is a generation of his wrath who ends up with the cut-off hair and the man doing the ruling. There is no protection or help for either the man or woman when the woman cuts off her hair and man rules over her. This is the means that Adam used to get Eve under his subjection. He deceived her into cutting off her long, lovely hair. All Scripture must tie together for truth to come forth. That is the reason that Scripture is in Corinthians and Jeremiah. It reveals what went on with Adam and Eve. Everything must go back to the beginning for understanding.
So the sin of Adam had placed man under that law and animal sacrifices. It had placed the woman under his rule or dominion. This was BONDAGE. It was a heavy yoke around her neck. As we follow mankind down through the ages after this, we see men taking many wives, killing, stealing, and many other terrible sins against God, which God had never wanted them to do. This all stemmed from the man being placed in authority over the woman instead of their staying on equal grounds, where the man loved his wife as himself. Under the first condition of man, they were never to have but one wife. God has never ordained nor approved of man having more than one wife. It was man in rebellion to God. It was man full of lust. It was the woman not being in the place of leadership which God had made her for.
God chose Abraham, a man of faith. Abraham and Sarah were on equal grounds as it should be. When Sarah received a revelation from God, to send away the bondchild, Abraham did not wish to do this. But God told Abraham to hearken to the voice of his wife and do as told. This is how it is when a man and woman live in grace. Neither one rules over the other, but they are both able to receive revelation and the other is to listen and obey what God says through either one of them. Peter said they are heirs of life TOGETHER. If they are not, then their prayers will be hindered, thus rendering them powerless. So this is the place they get to when the man insists on ruling over the woman.
Mankind still continued to disobey God and worship idols. Adam and Cain had become harsh rulers over people in their day. They had set up idol worship and holidays just as it is today. They all started there with Adam. IN order to rule over the others, they had to keep them under that bondage of law. They set up many rich, fabulous temple buildings for the worship of Adam and Cain. They are the ‘parents’ of the modern-day churches. They were the ‘parent’ of the great temple Solomon built. But God has always despised these things. Cain was a tiller of the ground. This means he brought people into that law bondage. They did this so they could rule over everyone. Everything in Scripture shows what they did in that ancient society. They were harsh, hard rulers. It is that Assyrian spoken of in Scripture.
Isa 14:24 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand: 14:25 That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders. 14:26 This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.
The Assyrian means the devil. It is Adam or his spirit ruling over others. See then that God said he has determined to tread this evil one under foot and break his YOKE off them, and his BURDEN will depart from off their shoulders. This heavy burden is the same one spoken of in Acts 15. It is that law, by which people are in bondage and being ruled over by others. So then everyone who holds a yoke upon someone else is of this Assyrian Spirit. Everyone who does not break every YOKE, is an Assyrian, or Satan. So with that in mind, let’s go into what the Jubilee was for.
Lev 25:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying, 25:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD. L 25:3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; 25:4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard. 25:5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land. 25:6 And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee,
Lev 25:7 And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat. 25:8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. 25:9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
Le 25:10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. 25:11 A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. 25:12 For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.
Le 25:13 In the year of this jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession.
If you wish to learn more about this jubilee, read this 25th and 27th chapters. This is the only place in the entire Word of God where this jubilee is mentioned. As seven completes a week or a certain time period with God, then the sevens actually show a major time period. So the seven churches is a time period of ‘church’. They were told to allow the land to rest each seventh year and not sow it nor reap from it. In the sixth year God gave them enough for three years. So they did not sow nor reap in that seventh year. They sowed in the eighth year but did not reap until the ninth year.
Then they were to count seven times seven years and that brings 49 years. The JUBILEE year would be the following year, or the FIFTIETH year. IN that Jubilee year everyone who was being held in bondage was to be released or set free. They were all to return to their own possession. If one had a servant or bondservant, then he had to set the bondservant free in that Jubilee Year. If land or goods had been sold, they were to be redeemed back to the original owner in that Jubilee year. That Jubilee Year set everyone free. It was the year of redemption.
Now all of this is important types for us to learn by. That fiftieth year represents Pentecost. Pentecost occurred fifty days after the resurrection of Jesus. He appeared forty days then ascended to Heaven. Ten days later the Holy Ghost was poured out upon the 120 disciples. This started the New Heaven age of FREEDOM. Everyone was to be set free from every bondage in this Jubilee of Pentecost. No one had ever been set free from their sins until this Day of Pentecost. On that Day Jesus set the captives free. This was the first true JUBILEE. The OT Jubilee was only in types of this true Jubilee.
Isa 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
What was Jesus’ true purpose? To undo the heavy burdens of law off the people, to let the oppressed of Satan go free, to break every yoke. That was what Jesus came for. So what was the heavy burden? Let Peter tell us: Ac 15:1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
Ac 15:8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; Ac 15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Ac 15:10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
So see that telling the disciples they must keep the law of Moses was this yoke they wanted to put upon their neck. See also that the setting them free meant they had received the Holy Ghost.
Ac 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
See that telling these disciples they must go back to Moses and keep the law was subverting their souls. The Apostles gave no such commandment to the Christians. Ac 15:28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; 15:29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
Now see in verse 28 he called these things a burden. Jesus said take my yoke upon you, for my yoke is EASY and my BURDEN is light. Jesus did not place any heavy burden upon us. He set us free. Whom the Son has set free is free indeed. Then why are so many still under bondage? That is a good question. The answer is the title of this message: most people have rejected the JUBILEE which Jesus brought us. See that Jesus said what he called an acceptable fast was to undo all the heavy burdens (law) and break every yoke. .......BREAK EVERY YOKE!
So now where was the first yoke? It was that bondage Adam brought Eve into; He shalt RULE over you! There is the first heavy burden and YOKE. Man was set to RULE over his wife. This is perversion of God’s original way of life. God’s chosen way of life was and has always been EQUALITY.
Isa 10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
See here that the yoke and burden shall be taken away and destroyed because of the anointing. This anointing is the Holy Ghost. So then all who have the true Holy Ghost will break every yoke. So then what about all these churches and families where people are still held in bondage? They are in defiance and willful disobedience to the finished Work of Jesus. They are refusing to break every yoke. Why? Because of the same reason Adam placed the first yoke; he wanted to rule over others thus becoming as a god and to be worshipped. See when you hold someone as a servant or in bondage to you, you are seeking to be worshipped. It is worship.
Ex 21:1 Now these are the judgments which thou shalt set before them. 21:2 If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing. 21:3 If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him.
Ex 21:4 If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself. 21:5 And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free: 21:6 Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl; and he shall serve him for ever.
Being a bondservant is a type of being under that bondage of law. So in the seventh year, a servant shall be set free. But if his master gave him a wife and they had children, then the wife and children belong to the master = law. So only the man could go free. The wife and children of LAW are never freed. It is showing that those who love law and are actually born of law, will never be free. If the man decides he loves his wife and children of (law) more than freedom, then his master (law) bores a hole in his ear and he shall serve him (law) forever. The hole signifies that he cannot ever ‘hear’ the truth or come into grace. He has decided to stay married to law. Paul said we must be dead to the law in order to be married to Christ. When that year of Jubilee came, all who ‘heard’ this call to freedom ran to the mountains and rocks (the Apostles) and hid themselves in the New Covenant. They were set free from that bondage of law. If they heard the message of freedom and grace, and they turned against it willfully and decided to stay with law, then they will never be able to ‘hear’ the truth and be set free. They will be a bondservant or bondchild forever.
But a strange thing happened. Even in the days of the Apostles many people went out and proclaimed that the Christians had to still be circumcised and keep the law of Moses. Thus they took many back under that bondage and yoke of law. The churches in Paul’s day were still going by law. That is why they claimed that the women had to be silent in church and not speak. Paul sharply rebuked them for this. He showed that they were holding to law with this. They were not allowing that yoke to be broken off the necks of the daughters of God.
Joel prophesied that the daughters would also prophesy. Yet because these people did not know the Scriptures, they were still holding the women in bondage of that yoke Adam had placed upon Eve. Now Paul did not demand that the husbands set their wives free. But he and Peter both taught that they needed to do this. They needed to see their wives as equals to themselves. Peter said else your prayers will be hindered. Paul said all who do wrong (keep them in bondage) will receive of the wrong they have done.
Paul told the master of servants to give equality to their servants. This meant set them free as brothers. But Paul did not demand this. It is up to the individual to give this freedom. But if the person does not give this freedom, then they themselves will be brought back under that bondage of law, and loose their souls. God gave to Jesus equality with himself. Then Jesus gave equality to the men with himself. Then the man is expected to give equality to the woman. But now this is where the ‘stream’ of the living water was stopped up. This is where they refused to obey the word, for they had that spirit of Adam, the Assyrian, and wanted to keep their bondmaidens in bondage. They want to be looked up to and obeyed, for this is their ‘worship’. This was the downfall of Adam. It is the downfall of most men today.
Now there is another place where the bondage is held onto. That is in the churches. The pastors desire to RULE over the people. They desire to be worshipped, even if they do not realize that this is what it amounts to. But ruling over others is a form of being worshipped. When a pastor tells their people that they are under a DUTY to be in that particular church each time they have a get-together, then he is holding that person in bondage. This is not freedom. When they tell you that you cannot rise above them, then they are setting themselves up as a ‘god’ to you. This is bondage. They are holding you in bondage with that yoke still upon your neck. Jesus set us free. But if you allow the hirelings to bind you down, put you back under law, and demand you to tithe, always be present to support his programs, then you are doing as the man who did not desire to go free. You allow them to bore your ear through and you will never ‘hear’ the call to come out of her, into freedom.
If you stay in that bondage, then you will lose your soul. Only those who heard the call and came out into freedom, will have salvation. Those who accept slavery to a man’s organization (same as any church) then you deny the freedom of the Holy Ghost and will be lost. So see that it is of utmost importance that you do NOT REJECT THE JUBILEE. You pastors who hold that the people cannot get anything from God for themselves, but must come through you, are rejecting the Jubilee. This will cost you your souls. Is it worth it? Why do you reject the Jubilee for which Jesus gave his life?
