Matt. 24:36--But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
v37--But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
v38--For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Matt. 25:13---Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
v6--And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
Matt. 24: 29--Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, ....
v30--And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
v40---Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
v41---Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
M.25:7--Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps, and the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
v24--Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou are an hard man,...
v25--And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
v26--His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knew that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
v27--Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
v28--Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
v30--And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Since this will be a long message, I will close this one here and continue it in another post. This way you will be better able to read and study this.
After the midnight cry went out, and all the virgins arose and trimmed their lamps...
v8---(Matt. 25)...And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
v9--But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
v10--And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage; and the door was shut.
As it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be--- Noe went into the ark and the door was shut.
The wicked knew not until the flood came and took them all away.
So shall it be...
The door was shut; so the wise virgins could not give oil anymore. The foolish, who had been buying and selling = (the mark of the beast)---were told to go on now, try to buy you some salvation. See, it is not bought with money. It is a gift (the mark of the true church).
Every one shall be rewarded according to what they have done in their body, whether it is good or bad. He gave to every one a measure of faith.
When, the Lord came back, he found some servants who had used and doubled the gifts he had given them when we went away to the far country. To the one who had gained five talents, He gave him to have authority over five cities (see, rewarded him what he had done in his body).
To the one who had gained two more talents, he was given authority over two cities. Again, rewarded according to his works.
BUT --- what did he do to the one who had buried his talent and not gained anything? Same thing as to the foolish virgins; for it is all the same event; just told differently.
v11--Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
v12--But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
v26---His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou....oughtest to have put my money to the exchangers,...so I should have received mine own with usury.
v28---Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
v30--And cast ye the UNPROFITABLE servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Then the Lord sits in the judgment and cast away the goats (the foolish virgins; the wicked servant).
But, the sheep, (the wise virgins; the profitable servants)---he blessed with the inheritance of the kingdom of Heaven.
Luke 17:
Here he tells of his coming death; then the part of Noe.... then
v28--Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
v29--But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
v30. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
v31--In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32--Remember Lot’s wife.
v34--I tell you, in that night ( the midnight cry time)---there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35--Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36--Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Here, Jesus told of a time of financial prosperity and easy living; conditions prevailing before the flood. This condition is also immediately preceding the coming of the Son of man.
Lot’s wife, made a start OUT--- but then she looked back. In their heart, they turned back to Egypt. If you seek to hang on to your own life style, when He comes and burns up the works in the world, you will lose your life.
But, now, what about these two men----who are they? These two women--- who are they? What does it mean, one was TAKEN and the other LEFT?
i Cor.. 15:45---And so it is written, The FIRST man Adam was made a living soul; the LAST Adam was made a quickening spirit.
v47--The FIRST man is of the earth, earthy: the SECOND MAN is the Lord from heaven.
v49--And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
So, here you have the two men. One is the ‘old’ man; the fleshly, earthly man. He is the one who will be left behind.
They were at ‘rest’ (in bed) in the field (the world) (the Lot - like- conditions)--they did not need or want Jesus.
TAKEN ---is the past part of ‘take’. (English dic.)
Take has many meanings: but here are a few which open up what is meant in the above study:
1. to get into one’s hands or into one’s possession, power or control--------here is the meaning of giving them power over those cities.
2. to get possession of------ this is them receiving their inheritance.
3. to acquire by eminent domain--- this is their taking the kingdom.
4. to gain the approval or liking of----this is Jesus’ saying to them, well done.
5. to receive into one’s body (as by swallowing, drinking, or inhaling)---because they took His word, or bread into their body, he now receives them into his heavenly, bride, body.
6. to partake of: EAT--- this is our eating his body; his receiving us.
7. TO BRING OR RECEIVE INTO A RELATION OR CONNECTION; AS IN TAKING A WIFE!1
(isn’t this one great?) and the next one is like it---
8. to copulate with-----(how about that?)----This is Jesus TAKING them as his bride!!!!
9.---to transfer into one’s own keeping---- here He takes us into his own keeping.
Now, if that isn’t some glory concerning being TAKEN!!! BUT----it gets better....look at this.....
The word ‘taken’ there in Luke 17----is explained by Strong’s in #3880----thus: to receive near, i.e. associate with oneself (in any familiar or intimate act or relation): --now, this is the same as the English meaning above--- that Jesus takes us as his bride---an intimate act or relationship. GLORY!! I wanna be in that number!!
It goes on with this: by anal. to assume an office----- see, this is when he placed them over the cities to rule.-- fig. to learn---this is our learning the truth.(the 144,000) Is Thousand means to learn and teach. So this is the 144,000---- those who ‘learned’.
Then---it says, to receive, take (unto, with).----So this is our receiving the glorified body (our inheritance) and Jesus’ receiving his own.
Those are the ones who were TAKEN.
Those are the ones who put on the new MAN , who is renewed in the inward MAN, to be conformed to the image of Him; those who grew up into the statue of the perfect MAN, Christ Jesus.
It is our receiving our new MAN--= the glorified body---it is our putting on immortality---it is taking us out of the grave---out of weakness---out of corruption---out of shame---and bringing us into power. That was one of the meanings of TAKEN--- to receive POWER.
So, this is the meaning of One Shall be Taken. The One taken is the ONE true body of Christ, the true woman = the true Church---the WOMAN which is TAKEN.
Now, let’s look at the other one; the one LEFT.
Strong’s gives this, from Luke 17---#863---to send forth---cry, forgive, forsake, lay aside, leave, let alone, omit, put or send away, remit, suffer, yield up.
The English says LEFT is the past part. of LEAVE--- sooooo Leave is:
1. to cause or allow to be or remain in a specified condition--- this shows them being left as mortal.
2. to fail to include or take along--- this shows Jesus not including them in his Bride or Holy City.
3. to permit to be or remain subject to another’s action or control--- shows them being ruled over .
4. to go away from; DEPART---HERE is where Jesus tells them to depart from him...to go into everlasting darkness.
5. DESERT, ABANDON--- this is the same meaning.
6. to terminate association with: withdraw from---Same meaning = he tells them to depart from him. They are cast into the lake of fire.
7. leave alone: to refrain from bothering or using. ---so here, Jesus puts them away from him forever.
Now, dear people, I did not make up any of this!! I took it out of the Dictionary and the Strong’s. You can read it in your own books.
So, back to the Scripture study: two women --grinding out meal---what meaneth it?
Isa. 47---Here one of the ‘virgins’, Babylon, (verse 1) is told to come DOWN, sit on the ground = this is HER -- being left--- or cast away. She is told that there is no throne for her. She is deserted.
v2--Take the millstones, and GRIND MEAL.--- what meaneth it? Grinding meal = making her ‘bread’ or doctrine = a ‘church’ --- a ‘woman’--- giving out HER teachings ----this is the foolish virgins.
So, then who is the other woman? Of course, it is Jerusalem, the true church. She is also grinding out meal and feeding the sheep.
So, I think it should be crystal by now, who the two men and the two women are. It is clear what it means, one was TAKEN = the one who went into the marriage with Jesus, before the door was shut.
The other one, the one LEFT, is the false church, the sleeper against God, the carnal, earthly man, this is the one LEFT = or deserted and cast away into the lake of fire.
God, Lord Jesus, I ask to be in your TAKEN group.
