~~ A Study in Genesis One ~~ By: Jo Smith **** Feb. 3, 2007
Day One
So you think you understand creation, eh? You think you understand Genesis One? OK, let’s just look at this for a bit. Let’s see how much is truly understood about creation. I am not teaching in this message. I am showing you and myself things which have not been understood or studied properly or taught by anyone that I have ever heard or know of. We will take this a day at a time.
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Ge 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Verse one: God created the heaven and the earth, in the beginning. But what beginning is He speaking about? Notice that this ‘heaven’ is spelled with a small h. Now I know that many people who do not think that the KJV is a pure Word of God, will not make anything of this, but I do. I know it means something. As I have stated many times, you must find another place in Scripture which explains, or interprets each and every verse you are studying. If not, then you do not have the truth. No one, not one soul, can just decide in their own minds what the Word of God means.
Most people fail to realize that the Scripture is not an earthly language, even though it uses English-looking words. The Words all have a spiritual meaning. So only Scripture can rightly interpret any of it.
So to start our study, what does the Scripture reveal the ‘beginning’ to be? It clearly reveals that Jesus is the beginning. (I am not going to list many references in this message, because I have already taught all of this fully in other messages.) So here we find that God created, in Jesus Christ, a heaven and an earth. This heaven and this earth is inside Jesus. It is part of him, or he is this heaven and earth. So this heaven and earth must be rightly interpreted from other Scripture. The ‘earth’ is the body. Our body came from the dust of the earth, so it is ‘one’ with the earth. Heaven is the spiritual part or the inner man.
Verse two: the earth part of this creation in Jesus, was without form and void. So one must find the true interpretation of this somewhere in other Scripture. It is revealed in Isa. 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. Isa 52:14 As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:
There are other places, but for now use this reference. I will give a few for the sake of showing you how to study this Book of Genesis. It is also the only way to study any Scripture. Darkness upon the face of the deep? You must find out what ‘darkness’ signifies in Scripture and you must find the meaning of ‘deep’. Until you find these two spiritual meanings, you have no idea what this is speaking about.
Deep signifies the deep things of God. Isa 33:19 Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.
This is showing that the people of God, especially Jesus, will understand the deepest things of God. They will not encounter people who know things we do not know. So this ‘deep’ is about the deep mysteries of God. Darkness was hiding these truths. Darkness is error, or lies, or Satan’s kingdom. 1Cor 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Eze 26:19 For thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee; Eze 26:20 When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living;
The above Scripture is speaking of Adam, his kingdom. His kingdom was the old law, and the rich nations he had set up on the other side of the flood. Jesus is telling him that he will destroy his kingdom, at the flood, and at Calvary, and then bring up the deep truths of God to cover him. This was the ministry of the Apostles as they brought the truth which Jesus had taught them. Jesus brought that old sinful kingdom of Adam to the pit and set up his Holy Kingdom of deep truth. Adam had the deep truths before he rebelled against God. But he took up sin and went into darkness. This ‘deep’ set Adam up on high, but his pride brought him down. The land of the living is the Holy Ghost. This is the life He gave us.
Let’s look at this for explanation of what this darkness and light is: 1John 2:8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. 2:9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. 1jo 2:10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. 2:11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
Now this makes it very clear that love is the light and hate is the darkness. So he said if we have come to love, then we are in the light and the darkness is past. This proves then that this darkness and light is not speaking of the light and darkness which we call day and night. It is not concerning this at all. These ‘days’ in Genesis one, is not our natural days at all. This love, or light, can only come from Jesus Christ. He is the LIGHT, so he is the love. He is the day star, which is the sun. But it does not mean that sun up in the sky. If you cannot see this, please pray for a spiritual mind. Else you will always walk in the darkness, which has blinded your eyes.
Mt 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
This shows that Jesus and his children will be as the sun in his kingdom. He is our Father. So the light in day one is Jesus’ love, or grace. It is the tree of life. Since ‘hate’ is the darkness, then it is showing that Satan, or Adam, had taken the world, (the deep) into the death of law. So his HATRED for God, truth, and God’s creation, was this darkness which had blinded the eyes, or minds of those in his day. So then I see that hate is the same as death or law. See, under the law there is no love. All transgressions must be punished, even with death. There is no forgiveness or grace. So in this first day, or Jesus’ natural life, there was both life and death, for Satan was there, attempting to tear Jesus down. Both the tree of life and the tree of death, law, were there in Jesus’ life.
Then you must find out what the face of the waters is. What is ‘waters’ in Scripture. Rev. 17:15 will give you this answer. So after you find that waters means peoples of the world, then you must find out what it means that the Spirit of God moved on the ‘face’ of these peoples. Do any of you know? Have you searched to find out? If not, then you really have not cared what this passage of Scripture really means, and you will have swallowed down lies of man.
Then God said let there be light. So what is this light? Now I want you to take note of the fact that God spoke for this light on day one. Remember this.
John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 1:8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not
You will need the above verses with this. V4, God saw this light and said it was good. He then divided this light from the darkness. He called this light Day. The Capital D means this is a personification. So who is the Day? 2Pe 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
Now we know this is speaking of the same light John spoke of in John one. See here it again states that this light shined in the darkness, or a dark place. Then he spoke of the day star arising in your hearts. So this day star is the same as the Light which was Called Day by God. So then we see that God spoke for a light on day one, which is the Day. He is the Day Star. He is the light shining into the darkness, which the darkness cannot understand or comprehend.
Notice also that God called the darkness Night. This capital N means this is also a personification. So you must find from Scripture who this Night is. And the EVENING and the Morning were the first day. We know that night is the opposite of light. But take a look at the similarity: N ight is the lack of L ight. Change the L to N or the N to L and you have the same thing. So law is opposite of grace. One is death, the other is life. One is night, the other is Day. So Night means Satan or Adam or law. Jesus said:
John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
See this could not be speaking of the natural night and day, for we can work in either of these. He is saying we cannot work the true works of God in the darkness of law or the flesh. We must be in the light. Jesus said I am the light. So we must be in Jesus or the Day.
Another proof of this is: John 11:10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
See, he said if a man walk in the night, there is no light in him. So this has to be speaking of spiritual things. Walking in a natural night does not mean there is no light or truth is us. It is saying if you walk in the carnal mind, you do not have the truth of the deep things of God. That darkness or carnality, has blinded your eyes.
Now it is not speaking here of our time. I know everyone took it that way. But that is because they have not taken these verses and analyzed them in light of other Scriptures. I find it very interesting that the only other place in Scripture where this term, evening and morning, are used together in such a way, is in Daniel: Dan 8:26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days. Dan 8:27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.
Now that is the only other place where ‘the evening and the morning’ are used together. Notice that Daniel said the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true. So the vision he had been given was of the evening and the morning. This vision was shut up, for it was yet for many days. Notice also that no one understood this vision. I say they still do not. I say they have not even understood enough to know that they do not understand. Men have made up stuff to interpret all these things with. God did not give them the true understanding. They are trying to place all of these things on some man in human history, such as certain kings, rulers, and nations. It is not about them. It is all about JESUS CHRIST. And until you study these things with the knowledge that it is all about Jesus Christ, you will never understand the vision. You will never understand Genesis one or two. I can assure any who read this, the truth of all of this has not been taught by anyone. They still do not understand these things, for they seek the answers from other men, and try to place it on other men. It is all about JESUS CHRIST. Jesus is the light. Jesus is the Day. Jesus is the beginning. Jesus is that heaven and earth. The evening is his earthly life. The morning is after the resurrection. Evening is about our earthly life. It is darkness. Morning is about glorification. It is about Light or LIFE.
This ‘vision’ was ‘prophecy’ in Daniel’s day. It was prophecy in Genesis. It was for many days at the time of Daniel. It was for a time yet to come = when Jesus lived on earth. So until you understand Genesis truthfully, you will never understand Daniel truthfully, or for that matter, any other Scripture. When you come to understand Genesis truthfully, then you will also understand Daniel and Revelation truthfully. Until then, it is total darkness to you. Your mind has been blinded by the Night. Genesis one is God telling us the process by which He made man in his likeness and his image. He is taking in the entire time of life here in carnal flesh and leading up to the resurrection of Jesus and the glorification of all the true Saints of God. That is what Genesis is all about. It is not about God’s creating a universe, as everyone thinks. Proof: Isa 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: Isa 46:11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.
Jesus is the one who went into a ‘far country’, there to execute all of God’s counsel as he sits to rule at God’s right hand.
Now the above solidly proves that God was declaring the end from the beginning and verse 11 proves it is speaking about Jesus Christ. So the prophecy in Genesis one is all about Jesus Christ. See that he said he was speaking in ancient times of the things which were not yet done. So Genesis one was not yet done at the time he first spoke it. It was PROPHECY. Note also that he called this ‘bird’ from the east a MAN. This man was Jesus Christ.
It is not about a creation of a universe. God was showing the end from the beginning. Jesus said I am the beginning and the ending. So in day one, we are told about Jesus’ life. On day six we are told about His resurrection. He was the beginning of a NEW CREATION of God. This is what Genesis is about. Jesus was the foundation of the new world. He laid this foundation. So God spoke about Jesus on day one. Then He goes back and picks up on events which lead up to this time. Last he ends up with the resurrection of Jesus. So Jesus is in day one and day six.
Here is solid PROOF that Jesus is the one in Genesis one: Re 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
Now that clearly shows that Jesus was the beginning of the creation of God. So Genesis one is about Jesus.
Another place which has been totally misunderstood is Zech 14. People all tend to place this chapter at the second coming of Jesus. But it is about his first coming. His feet stood on the mount of Olives in that day. I would really love to take in this entire chapter. Really need to. But, read this: 14:6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: Zec 14:7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. Zec 14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. Zec 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. (The living waters was the teaching of Jesus and His Spirit…out of your belly shall flow rivers of living waters.)
I just have to add this: Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. (The day of the LORD is the crucifixion of Jesus.) His spoil means the ones he has brought into the light of truth. These are the ones he has rescued from the darkness of the OT Law.
Isa 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
They are divided right there in the midst of them. He is dividing the light from the darkness. The Day of Pentecost set this division into progress. There those who had come to the LIGHT were brought into the Church of God and out of the law. Those who clung to law, refusing grace or truth, were left in the darkness of the now dead law covenant. They are now blinded to never see light or life. ‘Spoil’ is the treasures one gathers after they have won a battle. Jesus battled the law or Satan and the disciples were his ‘spoil’.
Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
That gathering of all nations against Jerusalem was when they all gathered together against the Lord and His Christ, when they crucified Jesus. Jerusalem here means Jesus, not an earthly city. Jerusalem is the name of the Lord. This city was only called by the name of the Lord, which is Jerusalem. (As long as you think Scripture is about a natural people, called Jews, you will miss all the truth. It is not about them. It is about Jesus Christ.)
So all these nations were gathered together against Jesus. Now I know most of you will dispute this, but it is the true revelation. The night of the taking of Jesus, did not Jesus’ feet stand on the mount of Olives? Lu 22:39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.
Jesus went to the mount of Olives many times. This is what Zech is speaking of. The Mountain is spiritual here. Romans 11 shows that the Olive Tree is the true people of God. So this Mount of Olives is the true Holy Jerusalem, or the true City or People of God. It cleaved in two at that time, as the OT was abolished and the NT was brought in. (We have people so carnal in understanding that they are looking for a natural hill to have a ‘fault’ in it and actually split into. This is again dividing the light from the darkness. It is dividing the waters from the waters. It is not a natural mountain splitting into. It is the mount of the people of God, the Olive Tree of Romans 11.)
The disciples and early Christians were the ones who fled into that valley of safety. Paul explained in Romans 11, that the mount of Olives is the true Church of God. So here it was the dividing of the light from the darkness, as the Christians were separated from the OT group which clung to law. This is where the mount cleaved into. Part went to the North and part to the south. The Valley in between is the place of safety for the woman. This is also the dividing of time. (You will need to learn this, in order to understand the other days in Genesis.)
The two witnesses or the two candlesticks or the two Olive Trees, are those two pure Churches. One was before the Seven Churches in Revelation, and the other was after those seven. So this is the cleaving into of the Mount of Olives from the East to the West. (Jesus’ coming is as lighting from the East to the West.)
East was the original Garden of Eden, or the glorious truth of God. So this East shows the first witness, or the Church in Peter’s day. The West shows the other witness, or the Church in the end of time, with the Baptism of Fire. East shows the rising of the Sun, or that first Church. West shows the going down of the Sun, or the last witness Church. See it shows that this DAY has been completed. It is that FIRST DAY. Realize that this not COUNTING as in 1 2 3. It is showing things in progression. It is all about the life of Jesus. It is about his kingdom from the start to the end as he finally gets rid of the darkness forever. Jesus said they will come from the East and from the West and sit down in his kingdom. So it speaks about these two witness churches, one in the East, and one in the West.
The light was not clear nor dark? What can that mean? It means a mixture. If you take hot water and add cold water, you come up with a mixture, or lukewarm. If you take light and add some darkness, you come up with a mixture, or something like twilight, or when dark clouds blot out the sun and causes it to be darkly in the day time. Thus if you take grace and mix law, you come up with a mixture or the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Thus you have neither light nor darkness, but rather a cloudy condition. A teaching which is mixed up with both grace and law would bring forth this condition. Almost everyone today is in this condition of lukewarm, or mixing grace and law, or light and darkness, or life and death. When people say I am in grace, but must keep Sabbath or tithe, they are in this cloudy condition.
Jesus was made under law. Jesus had to fulfill the law. Jesus had to bring grace. Jesus had to live grace. Jesus had to live law. Jesus had to teach law. Jesus had to teach grace. How could this be? Both were in him. Night and Day was in him. Evening and morning were in him. Heaven and earth were in him. Life and death was in him. In him was life. But also in him was mortality, or death at work in his members. It was neither clear nor dark. In him was life, or grace and love. But also in him was death or law. He had to bring both. So this day of his life was neither clear nor dark. This is why or how DARKNESS was upon the FACE OF THE DEEP.
The DEEP, the dark secrets of God, were inside Jesus. But darkness, or humanity, and law, was upon this, blocking out the light. So it could not come clear to anyone. Jesus had life and grace, but he had to fulfill the law. So this darkness kept this light from being clear. It was so confusing to everyone who heard him speak. It was so confusing to all who watched his life, as he went about fulfilling the law and yet at the same time, giving grace. (How can you set an adulteress free without breaking the law?…How can you break the Sabbath and yet still be perfect? How can you forgive sin, when you are just a man?… How can you eat with sinners, and be holy?…How can you drive out the money changers with a whip and be kind?… How can you say “come unto me and I will give you rest, when you are just a man?…How can you heal on the Sabbath day and be free?…How can you say I and my Father are ONE, making yourself equal with God? …etc.) This confusion or darkness, is still a veil over the face of most people. They keep hearing law and mix it with grace. It is nothing but confusion and death. (Jesus is God; no, Jesus is a man; no, Jesus is both, Jesus is the only one, Jesus is the second one; oh wretched man that I am; who shall deliver me from this body of death or confusion? Da 9:8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.) (cont)

(Part 2)
But I want you to notice that during the OT times, the light was not clear. Jesus was the light. When Jesus came on earth, in the evening time, he brought light. The evening time was his earthly life. This is when he gave us the light of truth. It did away with that cloudy day which was not clearly light or dark. But the mixture was not cleared up until the Day of Pentecost. Then those Apostles, to whom Jesus had given understanding, brought the evening light and made it clear.
That was the mixture of law and grace, or the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. That is the darkness. Jesus gave clear light, in the evening time. Yet in this ‘day’ it is speaking of, which is the life of Jesus, this light was not clear until the evening time of his life, for he had to teach both law and grace. See during the OT times, law kept the light from ever being clear. Now Jesus had the light, and the light is shining in this darkness, yet this darkness is mixing with the light, and making it not be clear. At the resurrection this LIGHT became totally clear. This is the LIGHT which is now shining clearly.
Eze 30:3 For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.
See here is another prophet declaring that the Day of the Lord is a cloudy day. It is the time of the heathen. This is when they crucified Jesus. So in all of this the light was not clear nor totally dark. The Day of the Lord is the crucifixion of Jesus. I know this message will be very confusing to you. I know these things have been hidden under the darkness of carnality. But just take this a bit at a time and study it and pray for truth. Else you will never see these glorious secrets of the deep things of God. Now the sixth seal was the same cloudy day of the crucifixion of Jesus. Always keep in mind that God smote Jesus. He was smitten of God. God turned his back on Jesus and let the sins of the world be upon him. See, In Jesus was both life and death, light and darkness. On the outside, or human flesh, Jesus was first-man Adam, or carnal, mortal flesh. This was the earth without form and void. But inside Jesus, where the Word and Spirit of God dwelt, there was light, or heaven. Now I know what I am fixing to say will be a big stumbling block to almost any and all who ever hear this. But it is solidly taught in Scripture. The outer man, Mary’s son, was the anti-Christ. Human flesh is anti-Christ. It is contrary to God and is not subject to God. Jesus took on himself the likeness of sinful flesh. This outer shell had to die and be born again. This was accomplished at Calvary, when God smote Jesus. Mr 6:3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
See, those people were looking at the outward man and they called him the son of Mary. They did not see the heaven inside this earthly man. The outer man is the son of Mary. It is human flesh. Jesus was a man. But inside this man was a son of God, and this son of God is the heaven. Each true child of God has this same heaven inside ourselves. We have the Earth outside.
Jesus’ soul then went into hell fire. He had to destroy this likeness of sinful man, first-man Adam. This is why it is so very wrong to say that Jesus, the man, was God. You will never, ever see truth if you hold to this lie. Jesus had to die to self. He had to crucify his own human life. This was done each day of his life, not at Calvary. At Calvary is where God smote the sinful anti-Christ. I am NOT saying that Jesus did sin. No, he lived a perfect life. But in humanity, he was first-man Adam. This rebellious state of man had to be destroyed. So inside Jesus was heaven and earth, life and death, light and darkness. These had to be separated. The separation occurred at the resurrection of Jesus.
Now back to the dark, cloudy day. Remember that Jesus is the Day. But this day has become cloudy. Also it is showing that during the OT times, the light of God was only cloudy and darkly. The Sixth seal was Calvary. Watch: Rev 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; Re 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. Re 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
The shaking of the mighty wind was at Pentecost. But let me show you about the dark and cloudy day which is right here, at the sixth seal. Eze 34:12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
Zec 13:7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.
The two above Scriptures, tied together, show that the crucifixion of Jesus, as the sword smote him, was the cloudy and dark day in which his sheep were scattered. Eze 32:7 And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light. Eze 32:8 All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
Now that clearly is the same thing, the sixth seal, or the crucifixion of Jesus, but is also pertains to the casting out of Adam from the Garden of Eden, at the time of the flood. The ‘heaven’ in Jesus was covered, the sun was covered with a cloud. This cloud was his human flesh, which is now considered to be the sinful beast. At the time of his death, darkness was upon his land, both naturally and spiritually. The ‘sun’ inside him was covered and no one could see the brightness of the glory of truth he carried inside himself. The moon, (the law and flesh) was not giving out any light. The stars, God’s ministers, were not giving out any light. Jesus was not giving out any light. So in this dark, cloudy DAY, the sheep were scattered.
When I teach these kinds of deep messages, truths which have not been taught before, (that I know of), I must of necessity, give you many proofs, or no one could possibly understand these things. So now I will show you a great mystery proving what I said about the outer man, Jesus, being anti-Christ. And I will certainly understand that most of you will have trouble believing what I am going to show you here.
Eze 32:2 Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.
In order to get the truth of Scripture, you must understand that when it speaks of people such as Pharaoh, it is only using this person to show a spiritual truth. This is NOT speaking about any real Pharaoh. Each of the above words have a hidden spiritual meaning. It is revealing spiritual secrets. Being a young ‘lion’ is revealing this ones nature. A lion is a conqueror. He destroys and takes the prey. A whale is a secret also in Scripture. It is NOT speaking of natural lions or whales here. It is not speaking of the natural sea or rivers. Rivers and seas means nations of people. Rivers also represent the Holy Ghost and the Word of God. Out of your belly shall flow RIVERS of living water. The River of Life is the Word of God and the spirit of God, which gives eternal life. It is these kinds of rivers it is speaking of here.
Jesus said as Jonah was three days and nights in the belly of the WHALE, so shall he be in the heart of the EARTH. Jesus is the LION of the tribe of Judah. Keep this in mind. Now look at what this ‘lion’ did. He came forth with his own Rivers. He troubled the waters of their rivers and fouled them. Thus he brought them into a cloudy condition, of not being clear about anything. His teachings of Grace fouled the teachings of law. He seemed to ‘attack’ the Scribes, and priests, and all the religious leaders of his day. His teachings were contrary to all they believed as Moses taught them. Thus he fouled their ‘rivers’ or teachings…(Ye have heard that it has been said……BUT I say unto you).
Eze 32:3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in my net. Eze 32:4 Then will I leave thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee. Eze 32:5 And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy height.
What is God’s NET? Jesus was always showing the disciples how to use the net to catch fish. But He told them I will make you fishers of men. The kingdom of heaven is like a NET. It was cast out into the ‘sea’ of mankind and caught of every kind. This is the gospel NET here. A company of many people signifies that the NT Salvation went to all peoples. All peoples took part in casting out this NET of the kingdom message. The fowls represent the people. Those of ‘heaven’ are those who serve God. They remain upon Jesus’ message or his flesh. They eat what he gives. God laid the flesh, or spiritual meat, or Jesus, upon all the mountains and valleys. Thus the ‘fowls’ all came to the supper of God and ate to the full. They were filled with the FLESH of Jesus, the LIGHT OF LIFE.
Eze 32:6 I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of thee.
This prophecy was telling Jesus that I will place your blood upon all the land and all the rivers shall be full of thee. This is how life was given to all the world.
The above is for when Jesus died. The heaven inside him was covered with darkness of death. His sun of truth was covered with a cloud and the law which he had was now dark, not giving out any light. Everything was made dark over the land and over him as he died.
Eze 32:9 I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.
The entire earth of his day was troubled or vexed with this matter of the crucifixion. God brought the destruction or death of Jesus, into all nations and countries of the world. People who knew not Jesus were now brought into Grace and salvation, as they heard and believed the message of the death of Jesus.
Eze 32:10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. Eze 32:11 For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.
Many people, over the whole world, and their kings were horribly afraid because of Jesus. God’s Sword was brandished before them, as He smote Jesus. Their trembling or fear, was the great ‘earthquakes’ which took place there, in the day that Jesus fell. The sword of the king of Babylon had come against Jesus, as God allowed the Romans and the Jews to kill this man-of-sin. (Now don’t go getting on the wrong track here. This man on the cross now has the sins of the whole world on him. He is now the scape goat for all the world. God placed him there. Until you can grasp this hidden truth, you will never ever understand the book of Daniel.)
Eze 32:12 By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed. Eze 32:13 I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them. Eze 32:14 Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord GOD.
Verse 12 speaks of the ministry of the Apostles, as they tear down the walls of Babylon or Egypt. He has now given us the great waters in truth and will not allow the beasts (sinful man) to trouble our ‘waters’ or truth, anymore. But notice the next great verse! Then will I make their waters DEEP, and cause their RIVERS to run like OIL.
Now that is great. It is the truth, the DEEP again being clear. The OIL is the power of the Holy Ghost bringing truth to light and LIFE. This was fulfilled at Pentecost.
All of the Word of God was fulfilled at Calvary and Pentecost. If you look for the answers elsewhere, you will find only confusion and error. And unless you learn the above truth, you could not possibly ever understand Daniel correctly. That is why all the teachings going before on Daniel and Revelation and Genesis, have all been wrong.
Now at his resurrection, there is no more death, no more darkness, no more mixture, so the LIGHT is good, and has become clear. Now the LIGHT has been separated or divided from the DARKNESS. Now they will never be mixed together again. Now we can see clearly how to find life, the light of the DAY STAR SHINING IN OUR HEARTS. Glory to God! [Lu 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Lu 24:48 And ye are witnesses of these things.]
See here Jesus opened their understanding. This means he gave them the LIGHT clearly for the first time. He had told them of the OT writings of himself, but they had not understood. Now they understand or see clearly. He took away their ‘darkness’ and gave them pure LIGHT or truth. Thus the Spirit of God was moving upon the face of these waters. Here is where he divided the light from the darkness. Here Jesus no longer has to mix his grace teachings with law. Here Jesus is no longer in a mortal body. He is pure light or life now. The mixture has been done away with. Death has been abolished. Law has been abolished. Glory. He that has ears let him hear. If you cannot ‘hear’ pure GRACE in Scriptures, you are still mixed up in this tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which is death and darkness. It is the NIGHT. You walk in the night, you stumble. The Word of God STILL contains the message of both law and grace. Take heed HOW you HEAR. Paul taught both law and grace. But he separated them to those who can hear.
Praise His Holy Name for such glorious revelation! Shout for Joy! If you try now to mix law and grace, you are into this cloudy, confusing condition. You must come into the LIGHT to have LIFE. Only Those of us who have come into the light understand the difference between law and grace. This is why most people can never see the difference between law and grace, they are still under that cloudy day. They have not repented and been baptized into his death and been resurrected into his life. Only in LIFE is this LIGHT shining clearly. This explains why Jesus told his disciples, Ye are the LIGHT of the world. We will get to that in Day Four.
This is why Lucifer was called the son of the morning. He was created as a glorified man in the image of God. He lost his glory and went into darkness, when he rebelled and sinned against God in that Garden of Eden. Now I dare say this truth is one of the main reasons people will fight this pure truth. They do not want to ever admit that their first father, Adam, is this evil one. Nevertheless, the truth shall stand eternally. Adam was the Son of God, in the image of God. He was therefore the son of the morning.
When you study Daniel 8, you will see that a goat comes up to destroy the Ram. After this, the goat becomes great. Now read this: Zec 3:1 And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
I know that unless you are truly receiving revelation from God, you will think this is about an earthly man called Joshua. But no, it is about Jesus Christ. Jesus is called by many names in Scripture. This is a secret which keeps many from ever really understanding Jesus or Scripture. This is about Jesus. See that, Satan standing at his right hand to resist him? That is the same as this goat which comes up after the Ram. It is Satan’s kingdom again taking over after Jesus died and set us free. Law again took over the church. If you think this is not about Jesus, read on: Zec 3:3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. Zec 3:4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
Zec 3:5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.
So what does it mean, Joshua was clothed with filthy garments? It is Jesus at the cross, after the sins of the world were placed on him. It also represents this human flesh. The fair mitre is that crown of thorns they put on his head and the gorgeous robe they put on him in order to mock him. That is what this is speaking of. Also it is about the selling of Jesus by Judas. They set a price on his head. But see that he was given a change of raiment. This was his resurrection, when he was given a glorified body.
Here is where this was fulfilled: Re 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
Here Jesus was clothed with the sun, or this great light in Genesis one. He is now in full truth and glory. The moon, or flesh and law, are now under his feet. This crown of twelve stars is the twelve Apostles. It calls him a woman here. Why? Simple. He is the wife of God to bear other sons of God into the likeness and image of God. Besides, the tree of life is called a female: Re 22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Re 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Here is that great RIVER flowing again. And here the tree of life yields HER fruit every month. She is bearing children every month.
Zec 3:7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by. Zec 3:8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
Zec 3:9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. (This is Day One in Genesis.)
See here that Joshua was told that if he obeyed God, he would be set up to judge God’s house. We know this is Jesus. The fellows that sat before him were the Apostles. They are the ones who were a wonder. They were men wondered at. They are the ones Joel spoke of in Joel 2, who were for signs and wonders. Those seven eyes on that stone was clearly Jesus.
Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Ge 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Now I have already explained about the darkness being upon the face of the deep. Then the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters, so? OK, Revelation 17 shows the waters to be the peoples of the world. So, the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the people of Christ at Pentecost. This is when and how they received the Spirit of God. See when the Spirit of God moved upon these waters, God said to them, Let there be light and they received the knowledge of TRUTH or LIFE. They came into Grace and found Light. So there was LIGHT in all the camp of Christ. The Egyptians were in darkness and the Israelites had light all night, as the pillar of fire (Pentecost) stood between the two.
I told you that the sixth seal was the time of the crucifixion. Here is more proof of this: Lu 23:44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. Lu 23:45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. This matches perfectly the sixth seal. OK now, here is proof that the darkness which was upon the face of these waters, or people, was Satan: Ac 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. So this clearly proves that the darkness is the power of Satan. So Satan was blinding the people until Jesus brought us light. This happened on the ‘first day’. It is the life of Jesus. This power of Satan, Adam, was blocking the deep or truths of God from coming clear. This was the darkness upon the face of the deep.
I found this Scripture very interesting concerning this VOID: Nu 30:11 And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. 30:12 But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her. Nu 30:13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void. Nu 30:14 But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them. Nu 30:15 But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity. Nu 30:16 These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father's house.
OK, now, we are this youth in our father’s house and we are this wife. Mankind made up all kinds of vows, doctrines, bondage, laws, etc, to bind us with. But if our father or our husband, (Jesus) hears this and makes it VOID, then he must bear our iniquity. He did just that. He took our iniquities upon himself and VOIDED our bondage. Thus he took on him this void and redeemed us from man’s own foolish bondage of laws. He bore our iniquities in his own body. Thus his ‘earth’ or body was a void. But for those who refuse his redemption, as revealed in Acts, then he allows their bondage to stand and thus they are not forgiven. Their sin remains. They are doomed to their darkness and blindness, bringing death to their soul. This is the fate of all who cling to law.
I am showing you this is how you need to study Genesis one, or any other Scripture. This will help you understand Daniel 8. Daniel 8 is about Genesis one. It is about the evening and the morning. It is about Zech. 3. Put it together. There is also mystery as to what the ‘first’ day means. What does the ‘second’ day mean? Now I know almost everyone will mock this and say I am just imagining things. But that is why they never get any real truth or revelation. They think all these words have our English meaning. It is not so. These things are totally spiritually discerned. I will show in another part of these messages that these things in Daniel 8 are not what people think they are. I will prove that it is about Jesus, not some earthly person who lived down in time, as everyone thinks. I will show you how to prove these things when I can get that part written up. But for now, this is a lot to study. I have finally finished this on Feb. 22, 2007.
AMEN
