what do you all think Rev 18 is referring to? Last night I could not get to sleep, so something got on my mind and I got back up to read this chapter, to check on what I was thinking.
I just told Wanna what God showed me. I truly thought I may not have known it before, at least not in this depth.
But...
Here is something I shared here several years ago: (from my Bottf)..
I was just reading in Jeremiah 51. This came to me but I have not had time to get into it good yet. What do any of you think....I believe it is showing that Babylon, or Old Jerusalem, (being the same thing)...is OLD TESTAMENT, or Adam/Law.
Therefore, New Jerusalem is New testament, or Grace/Jesus.
One is condemnation and is doomed to destruction, as God brings his wrath against it. I also think this was done at Calvary, yet to be fulfilled in finality.
Babylon is full of idols,...and we know that OT group was full of idols.
Babylon destroyed all the slain of the earth...at Babylon all the slain of the earth fell. So it is showing that all who follow that old law covenant, are fallen....wow...this just keeps coming out as I write...Paul said they are FALLEN from Grace, when they go back to law.
So it is true. Babylon is Old Testament. It is doomed to death.
there are just the two trees. It keeps going back to that. I truly think I could expound on this all night, but right now, I think I am going to get off and go to bed.

so, see, I did already know it; but just had no connected it with Rev 18.
Sure enough, Jesus taught that old or natural Jerusalem, is Babylon, or the one guilty of all the shed blood on earth.
Now, Jesus Christ was connected with both covenants. He was born under LAW. He had to obey the law. But he also had to bring in Grace.
He crossed everything that old testament taught. it baffled all who heard him and caused them to hate him.
When they crucified Jesus, this was THE FALL OF THE OT.
I wrote several messages, years ago, on the Fall of the OT. Larry Bray and I both say this is the greatest message ever revealed to anyone.
Now, more of this has come. Rev 18, is the crucifixion of Jesus, or the fall of the OT, or the ENDING. They sat down to watch the END.
It is recorded in Mat, Luke and John. They STOOD AFAR OFF AND WAILED watching this MAN OF SIN DIE....or the fall of the OT.
I hope to get this message written up, but right now am too tired to do it.
