Joshua 6: 8-20
8. And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams' horns passed on before the Lord, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the Lord followed them.
9. And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
10. And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.
11. So the ark of the Lord compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.
12. And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the Lord.
( See what the trumpters have to do, they have to rise up early in the morning and stay up late at night. From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same they must continually sound the trumpet. They have to sound so the sheep will know there is a wolf out there some where and he already may be in the flock in sheep clothing. You sheep better listen while you can because the trumpet will one day will give out a certain sound and will no longer sound anymore. There will no longer be a need for him to sound because the walls will be down.)
13. And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the Lord went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the Lord, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.( These seven trumpets are the trumpets that are spoken of in Revelation)
14. And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days.
15. And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.
16. And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the Lord hath given you the city.
17. And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the Lord: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.(See there are going to be people out there that will help these trumpters and will hide them from harm and by doing this they will save themselves and their household as did Rahab did.)
18. And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.
( OK the accursed thing here is those out there that are perverting the gospel and they are making themselves accursed. Paul spoke of the accursed thing in the message that he delivered to the Galatians.)
Gal. 1:6-9
6. I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7. Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
(See what happened they had perverted the gospel that Paul and the apostles had preached and they were troubling the house of Israel( true sheep of God) But the silver and gold etc.( true sheep of God) had consecrated their selves to God and heard the sound of the trumpet)
Back to Josh 6
19. But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the Lord: they shall come into the treasury of the Lord.
20. So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
So when the trumpeters sounded the people ( which had heard the trumpet) shouted and the walls are coming down and these people also that are trying to lead the gold, silver, etc. away from God that has consecrated themselves to God.
Hearken unto the sound of the Trumpet before it sounds no more and you come down with the walls and also like Humpty Dumpty did when he had his great fall.
Once again there will be a time when the trumpet will not sound and he will leave you alone because you have not hearken unto the sound of his voice.
Math 15:13-14. But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
14. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
