ever hear the one about the contest between the wind and the sun?
wind says to sun, I am stronger than you. Sun says not so.
OK, lets see: man walking below with coat on.
Sun says, lets see who can make the man take his coat off.
you go first, wind.
Wind blows harder and harder. man clutches coat tighter and tighter.
Finally sun say my time.
He get hotter and hotter, In a few minutes man is sweating and take coat off.
Today, though, I say, Mr Wind you win.
Sure, I am determined to rake and move some more leaves before grass get higher; it is too hard to rake them then.
So, I lay down my plastic. Up goes one end, then the other end. I fix it again and again, raking as I go. sling some over onto the plastic.
finally get rocks on each end to hold plastic down. Mr Wind then blows off the leaves I had on.
So stubborn me, I go rake them back on. replace the rocks...wind folds the plastic over itself. Finally I have a good bit on the plastic. Not as much as I usually do, but I say, I will go take these off, then quit.
Today, Mr Wind. You win.
