~~ The Walls of Babylon ~~
Eze 13:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 13:2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD; 13:3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! 13:4 O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts. 13:5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.
Eze 13:6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. 13:7 Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken? 13:8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD. 13:9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
Eze 13:10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered mortar: Eze 13:11 Say unto them which daub it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.
Eze 13:12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
Eze 13:13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it. 13:14 So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 13:15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered mortar, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it; 13:16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.
Mt 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Mt 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: Mt 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Isa 56:10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Isa 56:11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
Jer 25:33 And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground. 25:34 Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel. Jer 25:35 And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape. Jer 25:36 A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and an howling of the principal of the flock, shall be heard: for the LORD hath spoiled their pasture.
Jer 50:6 My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.
Eze 34:9 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; Eze 34:10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.
The prophets, the shepherds, led the sheep astray. They built up a wall, and daubed it with untempered mortar. Jesus said their house was built upon sand, and therefore their foundation could not stand up to the storms and the wind. My messages are not little posts for you to read a little something. They are full studies in Scripture concerning certain subjects. Until you learn how to search for these kinds of ‘put together’ subjects and study out the full meanings you will never learn truth. In order to teach these kinds of things, it is very necessary for me to bring in much Scripture which brings the entire subject into light.
This wall which the shepherds daubed with untempered mortar is the wall of Babylon. There are two ‘cities’ in Scripture. They are those two covenants. One is a true church and the other is a false church. They are typed with Jacob and Esau, twins, but totally different. Both are in the same field. Both men came from the same parents, at the same time. The tares and the wheat grow together until the end, when the stormy wind brought down that wall of Babylon.
The untempered mortar is the false teachings with which these shepherds built up a church. Their teachings were not founded upon the Rock of truth, brought by Jesus and his apostles. The sand is their false teachings, or flesh. All the fancy churches you see around are built as part of this wall of Babylon. All their festivities and parties, and their traditions of man are part of this sand foundation and the crumbling wall.
Any church or group which indulges in the idol holidays are part of this crumbling wall. Untempered mortar has not been mixed correctly, and will not hold up a wall for very long. When a strong wind comes by, that wall will fall to the ground. Jesus said the house built on the sand fell, and great was the fall of it. What fell? That OT law covenant. A spiritual house build on law will never stand. Only by Grace can one be saved, and anyone trying to live by law is not under God’s grace. There is no mercy under law.
There is no grace to those who keep idol holidays, because this is devil worship. Everyone who reads the Word of God and seeks to change it to suit false doctrine are part of those prophets who daub the wall with untempered mortar. Everyone who teaches false doctrine are part of those prophets building this house on the sand. False doctrine is the untempered mortar. It cannot stand the test of God’s stormy wind.
What is God’s strong Wind? It is the coming of the Holy Ghost at Pentecost. When that mighty wind came, that old wall of Law came tumbling down, and great was the fall of it. John came with his ax and cut down those trees of the OT. The Apostles then laid a sure foundation upon a solid Rock, which could stand any and all winds. No winds of doctrine can tear this House down, for it is built on the Rock of Christ and Truth.
But what took place shortly after Pentecost? Those old prophets and shepherds began again to build those walls of Babylon up again. They went right back to law and holidays and all false teachings, and deceived the whole world again. The proof is in that the Book of Revelation speaks the same words to another Babylon, as Jesus spoke in Matt. 23, to that old Jerusalem wall of Babylon. See, it was restored and built again, with the same old untempered mortar. But it will fall again, and this time be rooted up and cast into the fire of God’s destruction. Then only the House which Jesus build will stand.
