A naked god
Well, I don't know where this is going but we will see. This thought came to me the other day as we were discussing something the other day on FaceBook. "A naked god" with a little g was my thought. I felt as God wanted me to do a message on "A naked god" I had no idea what I was seeing. I prayed about it. I started this a few days before a great teacher of the word came up with a message called The Great Imposter..... By: Jo Smith... If you have not read this message, you really need to. But the reason I said that it has so much of what I am going to say in this message. So I thought it was no use of me writing this message. But I fell an urge to do it. Let me say this. I will say this most of the time God speaks to one of us he speaks to the other. That is the unity of God. That is the way it was on the day of Pentecost.... they were all with one accord in one place. Even though we are 25 miles apart in the fleshly body. But being in one place has nothing to being in a certain place Now when I use God (G) it is the true living God. Also when I use small g it is a naked god.
So let's start where this started.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them
Genesis 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. ( First, let me try to explain here what it means by naked. Most of the people are carnal minded and say God put clothing on them like people put on every day. But so wrong, so wrong. They were in the image of God, They were spirit beings. There was no sin and they did not even know what sin was. They had no need to be ashamed Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (So where did this naked god come from? Well, let me try to explain this as best as I can. There is a natural Israel and a spiritual Israel. In the beginning, it was not that way. They were all in one mind and accord. The natural Israel is a symbol of law and the old Jerusalem The true Israel is a symbol of Grace and is the true Jerusalem. Galatians 4:25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
Galatians 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. I also need to add that Adam was a kingdom. There was more than just one Adam. As I said Adam was a kingdom or nation. Gen. 5:1... This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. ( I could go back to the generations but that is not my intention right now.)
I want you to keep this in mind. "And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.". Remember that. .So let's see what went wrong.
Gen. 2:8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye, shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. ( that is where it all began. They eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God had told them not to eat of that tree. Adam had deceived Eve and told her to eat. He said "ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. That was what Adam wanted.
He wanted to be as God not god. He wanted to be in the place of God. Adam also blamed it on the woman. Job 31:33 If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom:
Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
Genesis 3:9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
Genesis 3:13 And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
Genesis 3:14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
Genesis 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
Genesis 3:22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Genesis 3:23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. (Let me ask. Has this naked god become your true God? I know what you are going to say before I even ask. You are going to say no. But is that a true answer? No, It is not. Your true god has become a naked god. The pastors, evangelists and so-called prophets are just a part of a naked god that is not ashamed along with the church. The church has become naked. Adam's wanting to be worshiped as a god. we will be gods. SPIRITUALLY NAKED
Matthew 23 King James Version (KJV)
23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
People read the rest of the of Mat. 23 when you get the time.
Ezekiel 28 King James Version (KJV)
28 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord God; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:
4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches: God is speaking of Adam in these verses. He was the one that was lifted up in his heart and saying "I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas" he was lifted up because of his riches" Remember this also about the riches. Adam's wanting to be worshiped as god
Yes, the first man Adam wanted to be God but God said You are a man and not God.
6 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
Well, I know what you are thinking. How do you know it is Adam that God is referring to.
Well go to Eze.28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
vs 13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God. Adam is the only one that was in the garden of Eden. He was perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created,
I am going to end this but it is so much more I had planned to do. But as I said my sister in Christ did such a good message that you can read her message " The Great Imposter"
Now remember I told you at the beginning of this message "And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed." and " he was lifted up because of his riches"
The scripture in Matthew 19:30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. (Well, this pertains to this message. Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. Revelation 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. Ok, what I would like to show you about what was said at the beginning. I said this is where it began 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
( that is where it all began.) Now, this about Rev.3;17 puts an end to it. So if you can find me one scripture where Adam repented show it. We have several places where Eve repented and God forgave her. But none for Adam. If he did not repent he is still a naked god. So is the church still naked? Sure it is because it is one of the Adam spirits. It is naked. Adam never repented.
