In order to ever understand any truth from Scripture, you MUST know some basic things:
1. You cannot just look around you and find something you 'think' fits the words;
it MUST be written, plainly, in Scripture.
If your 'interpretation' is NOT written, just as you say it....it is LIES OF SATAN.
2. you cannot interpret a scripture until you find the interpreting VERSE ELSEWHERE.
everything in any Scripture, is clearly interpreted by another scripture.
Jesus told us the way things will wind up, in Mat. 24. Until you can take the chapter and explain Revelation from it, you do not understand it at all.
Jesus told of his coming crucifixion here:...
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 then let them which be in Judæa flee into the mountains: 17 let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Their fleeing into the MOUNTAINS shows the OT law folks, running to the NT ministers. They did not take anything out of that old law system with them...for the NT is total opposite.
that old law system of the OT was that beast that rose up out of the SEA....FOR THE SEA REPRESENTS THAT LOST GROUP.
HERE JESUS told of the beast who comes up out of the EARTH = CARNAL CHURCH.
Peter and Jude both clearly explains that these beast are false ministers, working for MONEY.
Here Jesus explains what the two horns on that beast is....(this church beast made an exact image of that OT law priest system...and God hates them both)
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
clear as day,,,that false church's two powers is FALSE CHRISTS AND FALSE PROPHETS.
