Many strong winds have tried to turn you around.
Heartbreak after heartbreak has come your way.
But you are in there to fight another day.

Grief after grief has pulled at your soul
But through it all, you remained whole.
Storms of all kinds have torn at your vitality
yet you have held to your wonderful personality.

Abundant suffering has tried your life to destroy
But you always bounded back still full of joy.
You have proven to be an amazing star
and you will always be so no matter where you are.

You have set your sails to make it through,
and there is nothing able to stop you.
You are the gold and silver that make good treasures.
Knowing you is one of life's greatest pleasures.

You have proven that you can excel
and none of life's troubles can make you fail.
No matter what comes your way, you will overcome.
Being with you is some of my greatest fun.

You are a shining example of excellence and grace.
Your splendid talent and honour nothing can erase.
You stand taller and more majestic than any mountain.
