Give me your love
Give me your love, my sweet turtledove.
Give me a smile and I will go with you a mile.
Give me a frown and I will pretend to be a clown.
Sing me a lovely song and I will to you belong.
Tell me you will be mine and together we will shine.
If you want to drink some wine I will grow for you a vine.
If you wish to live on the moon I will take you there very soon.
I will build for you a shrine and you will always be just fine.
Together we will go to the mountain top and there eat some pot.
We will then glide down the river and find a glorious giver.
There I will give you my love and my joy.
It will make a fine toy.
Give me a pickle and I will ride you on my bicycle.
Then you will be tickled to find a new nickel.
All of this is a mystery but it is all written down in history.
Together we will make a delicious cake.
And if that is not enough I will give you some snuff.
You may then take a puff of some really hot stuff.
We will go down to the lake and take a long break.
We need to rest from writing poesy and that will be rosy.
So every day you be my sweet honey and we will make lots of money.
You are my passion and we make good fashion.
Being with you is my greatest pleasure and rich treasure.
When you leave I feel like crying and I am not lying.
I love you with all my heart and pray we never part.
So give me your time and say you will always be mine.
I promise you the stars, the moon and the sun.
Together we will create loads of fun.
So, that is enough for now.
I can’t think of anything else anyhow.
Give me a blink and I will think.
No, all I can say is
Give me your love.
